Fisherman’s Cottage, Salcombe, Devon

Complete overhaul of an unmodernised fisherman’s cottage located just above the shoreline in Salcombe Bay. The design incorporated colours and materials from the Salcombe vernacular into the client’s brief, which involved replacement and/or repair of the entire building fabric plus all new surfaces, services, furniture, fixtures and fittings. A rear extension with large glass lantern was also added to make a new dining area on the ground floor.
